Car manfolds on truck

Ok i know that the drivers side does not work but i found a deal on a set of manfolds and dont know if i can pass it up. the only problem is one of the outside bolt holes is broken off but i think it could be fixed. I dont know which side it is on at the moment eather. Any thoughts or suggestion on this? any idea on price? thanks

PASS on the manifolds. You can use the right side and you can use another right manifold on the left side to have it dump in the front and going down.

If they are CHEAP maybe, like $25.00 a pair but no more. They are just going to collect dust and be in your way for 20 years and then you"ll end up giving or throwing them away.

It depends on what type of truck you have and what kind of steering box you have. Ed

I was just looking at your gallery. Unless you are going to an aftermarket front end with rack and pinion you cannot use the manifolds. Ed

No, they still won't fit. If you look at where your shifting arms are and where the steering mast and steering box is, you will see that the steering will still be the main problem, even after you move the shifting to a floor shifter.

With stock steering, your only options are at the middle of the engine (which means a Ram's Horn on the left hand side, at least) or the front, as Bigwin suggests (this means a right hand manifold that will dump near the front, outboard of the fuel pump) or headers, like Sandersons or Red's.
