Superchip Tire Size?
Hi, I have a 2004 F150 supercrew Fx4, and i have the superchip Hi Performance program installed, but when i installed it, it showed the tire height as 29.40 on the tuner, and i have the 275/65/R18, so the height would actually be 32.07. Just wondering what you guys changed your height to, to make the speedmoter more accurate, because if i put my truck into test mode, the message center shows i am only going 27mph, but my speedo gauge shows i am going 30mph. I was also getting some harsh and weird shifts, so i did move the tire size on the tuner upto 30.75, but i was wondering what height you guys are using.

I think mine showed the same height. I just put on new Nitto's 285/60/18's and changed the height of the tire with the superchips tuner to read 31.25. The tires are actually 31.38 I think so 31.25 was as close as I could get.

When I calibrated my speedo for 35s...I had to actually measure bottom of tire at the ground to the top of the tire. 31-75-16s are actually (34.7) when I measured them as they sit on the truck...it was 33.5" with the weight of the truck and all. This is what made mine correct when choosing tire size for my Superchip.
