i use an electric fuel pump on my 91 idi 7.3. i cannot find what the pressures should be for such a pump. i plan on buying a new pump and stowing it in the tool box, just in case.

I just bought a small pump to feed my big pump that I think would work perfectly for you. It's a Carter hi-po series pump that puts out 72gph at 6 psi. Cost about $50 through Summit. Part #P4070

The 6 psi is good but the 72 gph is about 50 gph to much for our system.

Normal lift pump.......
Carter pump #M60278
Pressure Rating: 4 lb - 6 lb
Gallons Per Hour: 23
