Had to change my front brake shoes today...no big deal right??? It's a simple job, even though I have 4 wheel drums, just only undo one side so you can use the other side for a reference...thats what Dad taught me
I went to Autozone, got the shoes and the hardware kit, came home, and the brake shoes were to small. Not to narrow, toosmall in diameter. I went back and the manager starts pulling up numbers. The brake shoes that I have on my '67 are not from a '67, they are from at least '64-'66...weird huh???
Oh well, I got it back together and its great now. But I do need some help...any idea where I can find self-adjuster cables at???
I ran into that problem on a '86 Nissan p/u. Nissan used left over parts untill they ran out and then switched to the current parts. It always made for an interesting trip to the parts store.
