s/n # problem
I have a 1965 f100 twin I beam .just completed restoration ,problem is my licence issuer says its a 1964. by the s/n .the s/n is 4991028L-214966A can any one help me decode this s/n? Thanks Merv

The picture is hard to see, but here is what I gather from it:
4991028L-214966A
4 is model, 8cyl
991 would be body type, Chassis and cab
0 is series, this is a M100
28 is wheel base, here it is 128 inches
L is for left hand drive (R for right hand)
214966 - series number
A is Gross vehicle weight code
This is all I have, if somebody knows more, they can add it.
