Wow!!

Well I just got my '06 350 Supercab w/ the PSD. What a difference over the '04 PSD I can't believe it! Truck only has about 30 miles on it. I wanna "play" a little, but between the break-in period and the snowey, icy roads I'm behaving, but wow!! I'm really impressed!!

Congratulation on your new truck. My neighbor has an 06 F350 dually, 6.0liter PS, and he really enjoys his truck too.

It just feels and sounds like its got more oomphff too it when you mash the pedal....

for this year they also have a boost guage in the dash cluster too.not as good prob as an aftermarket, but a guage none the less

Don't worry, if it is like my '05, it will leak oil like many of them.

What's your point? Go rain in someone elses parade. Why try to ruin someones day? You aren't helping in any way?

If he's happy, how dare anyone try to change that?

Congrats Willie. I've got 9500 miles on my 06. I love this truck. Not so much as a hiccup! Enjoy it!

I still get in this thing EVERY morning and WISH my drive to work was longer than it is!

I thought the same thing. I just traded in my '04 for an '06 and the '06 seems quiter and in my case is a lot smoother ride since i went from a SRW to a DRW.
Congrats on your '06 and enjoy...I am certainly enjoying mine.

Thanks Kw, Mil....I really liked my '04 XL, I didn't have any problems out of it other than the couple of recalls that I got taken care of. I never had any turbo problems, oil leaks, ect. Always made sure to get it serviced at regular intervals. One great truck!! But with the loyalty cupon and just lookin' at the dealership I found a nother truck and after some dealing I was able to get a really sweet truck. Just reading the owners manual, chapter by chapter, then go out and play with that "gizmo" is fun!!. I'm trying to find the chapter where this thing cooks dinner for me...LOL. If I should have any problems...well; I'll just take it in and have them fix it. I'm brand loyal. I've had a dodge before...my very first truck....just didn't like dodge, I've driven enough chevys (rescue vehicles and friends trucks) to find that I don't care for them either....My first real, new truck was a ford....they treated me right from the very first contact.... and I was hooked. Ford in my opinion builds the better truck of the Big 3. I will always drive a Ford....
I take no offense to ones opinion, we all know what they say about opinions....the're like a**h***s...everyone's got one....
I look forward to the breakin period being over and really trying her out!!

Yes GarageDoc, doesn't it though??....It just feels, sounds and acts like a totally different motor...... The ride is different too. To me it feels smoother...being I went from a 3/4 ton to a 1 ton
I like the better turning radius too, guess it's the difference between the coil vs. leaves

he he... I went from an F-150 to the 350.

For me, the turning radius was a shock in the opposite direction. I knew it would be worse than the F-150, but I was suprised how much worse it was. I can't imagine what I would have thought on the trucks with leaf springs.

Doesn't bother me. But I am jealous at times... I park in a tight parking garage downtown here... I have to do like a 7 point turn to get around this one corner. This dude with Porche 911 who parks down there whips a U-ey right around the corner. I chuckle...

Hey, SD250. I just traded my '04 F-350 4x4 crew 4" aluminumized BD exhaust, Air Raid intake, and Superchip on an '06 F-350 Lariat 4x4 crew cab. Just turned 3000 mi and last sat. had a BD 4" SS exhaust turbo back system installed with an AFE stage ll intake and a Superchip flash pak. I too think this truck has a little more power from the factory. The info I have says about 25hp more. The only problem I have with the new program is that when I shift the tranny into gear either rev. or drive the trans. lags ingaging by about two seconds. I know a couple of other guys that are having the same problem with their flash paks. Anyway you will like your new truck. Mine is a black Lariat with the chrome package.
