Not true. You still have to change the diff fluid and replace CV boots from time to time.
Are you talking about front shaft drive on a 4x4 quad?....maybe you are

My friend had a honda for about 8 years now, never changed the axle oil. He also has a polaris, haqd that for about 5 yaers, altuogh the front hubs needed gear oil time to time, he also never changed the rear or front gearbox oil, and they both still work fine.

I never did on my quad, beat on it for 3 years and nothing bad happend to it

Actually not a single person I know who has had a rear shaft driven quad and changed the axle fluid. Unless it got damaged some how, which i also never seen.

No one i know even dose that with there truck or car, unless they had to change or fix somthing with the axle, in most cases, like the previous owner of my bronco, they just get a new axle when the old one go's.
