I am having trouble finding my pass thru wires in the cab of my 2001 F250.
Do I need to remove the kick plate down by my emergency brake?

It helps to remove the knee bolster cover under the steering wheel. When looking underneath, look more toward the area above the center transmission hump, in line with the accelerator pedal, as was already mentioned. The colors of the pass through wires under the hood match the colors of the pass through wires under the dash above the accelerator pedal towards the center stack. Unfortunately, some of the same solid colors are used for the trailer brake control circuit, so your continuity testing is a good idea.
