Today i fooled around with my switch for my SCT chip. It's the switch with numbers 0-7 on it. Well after remounted it correctly through the glove box, i went to the store to get some things. I put it on setting #5 for safetly issues so it wouldnt start. On my way home i think to myself holy crap it's still on setting #5 and the truck is running. When i backed up under the carport, i switched it to #4 which usualy would kill the engine no matter what setting it was previously in. Nothing happen and the engine ran fine. I can turn it to any setting now and it still stays the same. I'm pretty sure it's stuck on setting 0 which in my case is an 87 octane milage setting. I have 93 octane in my truck now so i hope to get this sorted out quick. 93 octane isnt a problem but this issues just worries me. I just got it a few weeks ago.
If anyone knows what the problem is, it would be helpful. Only thing i can think of is the switch(part with the numbers) broke when i tried to inplug it(4 wire male into the female part with the numbers and dial) but nothing snapped or seems wrong.
