Has anybody seen the show "Full Throttle"? It's a 60 min "reality" show that puts to teams head to head with the challenge of modding and updating older vehicles so they can be drag raced. Team with the best two out of three wins both vehicles.
The current episode has 2 1964 F100's being worked on. They've swapped out the stock 292's in favor of some 460's. With some other mods both trucks are being turned into some pretty potent little hotrods.
I've seen it on the History Channel. I guess the connection is that they're all old vehicles. They've had Pacers vs Gremlins, Ford Ranchero vs Chevy Elcamino, Buick Grand Nationals against each other.
I've seen it. I think tehy ran that episode about 6 months ago. Most of the time they try to get 2 identical cars (or trucks) and have 2 teams make the same mods to each one. Then they go out and drag race them, the winning team gets to keep both cars.
Its a pretty good show, they give good history of the cars involved and explain what and why they are modifying.

Thanks. I knew there was one on the History channel at one time but I didn't think that was the name. I think the last one I saw was where they built two VW bugs. They were pretty impressive.
