Oil Pump EXPLODED!!!
Holy crap! What do you think of that? My buddies 05 6.0 just blew the oil pump. . .a nd I mean it exploded. Parts of it went through the oil pan. Now he is telling me that the pump is sealed from the rotating assembly, telling me that the parts never could have damaged the rotating assembly. Is that true. He has a Hypermax chip rated right around 170 Horse, but from what I hear, to get that power with stock injectors, they have to turn up the oil pressure. . . hense causing the pump explosion. Thats my guess. . . but what do you all think abouty the long term affects of a problem like this? Thanks
