outer axle shafts

Are the outer axle shafts too different between the 74 drum setup and a f150 disc setup? I forgot to look today. Going to put 77 f150 disc brakes on the 74. Right now I have the small ujoints in the bronc. Upgrades are planned but just to get it on the road, can I use the same outer, or do I need to change the shafts?

I think to make the work you need the whole knuckle from the F-150, and you need the 77 Bronco drag link setup for steering.

yes, the shafts are the same, my hubs came off my 78 Bronco

Thanks on the axle shafts. I have the whole setup from the 150. I parted one out. As for the steering , I have a couple options I'm going over. Don't know which way to go yet.
