I got a 351m equipped with a Holley 600 elec choke. The choke is operating, but when first initially starting it on a cold morning, it does not want to idle on it's own for the first few minutes. The choke immediately after it is started opens up a bit. The choke adjustment itself is fine, it doesn't come off to fast as it's warming up, only at the very second it starts. This must be the choke pulloff correct? How can I adjust this? When I start the truck at other times of the day, like after school when it is cold but not dead cold since I ran it earlier, the choke and fast idle work correctly.
hey guys what about a stock 2150 w/elect choke and pull off valve? how to adjust this. I have the same problem. I have a new Choke pull off valve. but It looks loos the choke lever.
I also have terrible gas mileage, I will start a post for this.
yellow, yes, just go about the distance of about 1 notch at a time and see how it does. The notches are just reference points and sometimes the chokes run out of the notch range.
