Help with clutch linkage?
My son has a'54 F-100 with a 350/4 speed...the clutch fork broke last week...it has the stock F-100 U-bracket on one end,a homemade rod,and a hole drilled in the dimple of the GM clutch fork...the rod pulls the fork from the rear instead of pushing it from the front(GM)...my question is...how have some of you guys hooked up this clutch setup...the fork broke where the hole was drilled...we got a Lakewood heavy-duty fork and replaced the broken one for the time being...obviously,it could happen again...I'd like to change it to something better.Thanks!

Anybody?I forgot to mention...the truck was setup like this when we got it...we did a frame-off and just put it back together as it was...we probably need to find a better way to go...thanks!
