460 question???

So since both my '79 heads have D3VE on them is that head design used all the way til 1997? or did they change it when it went to fuel injection

EFI heads are different than carbed heads and will not exchange with each-other without switching intakes also.Meaning,a carbed intek will NOT bolt to an EFI head and visa versa.

So if i feel like puttin EFI on my 460 i should go lookin for the top end of a 88 to present 460

if your talking about putting a factory efi setup on then yes. Some of hte aftermarket stuff like the holley projection use the earlier heads.
