New 06 surging bad
Just drove home with my new 350 SD and it feels like I'm pulling a half full water tank. I would have turned around and gone right back but it was closing time. Surges real bad under moderate acceleration, idles fine, can feel surging slightly at cruise. Any ideas ? This thing only has 100 mi. on it. And to think I traded a sweet running 04 with 55000 on it.... cw

Hey Big fish, How did they treat you with you trade. My dealer is about $4,000.00 off what I want. I would love a 2006 F-350. But my 04 only has 14,000 miles on her. And she is running great.

04 F250 to 06 F350 same equip. as close as possible was just under $10,000. My truck was exellent with 55,000 mi.

The turbo on new trucks setting around on dealer lots are subject to corrosion. The problem was close tolerance issue that cause the vanes to stick. A new TSB is out which replaces the turbo.

I have a new 06 and when I set my cruise it feels like it is jerking, is this what you guys mean by surging. I have not taken it back in yet but it does it enough I do not use the cruise control often. Thanks.
