I recieved two additional steering columns w/ my project also. Here's a shot of my columns...





What years were compatible with 54?
What is the wire coming out of the box for?
One of the units is missing this wire.

53 to 55 are interchangable; 56 is almost identical, except the shaft is about 2 inches shorter.
The wire coming out the box is the horn contact wire.
