I was cleaning out the garage this weekend and ran across a pair of cast exhaust headers that I had forgotten about. I bought these headers for a 390 that I raced pure stock back in the early 70's. I probably knew what they came off of at the time but have now forgotten. I have never seen another set of headers like them. I have to believe they are rare. Does anyone know what their application was?

Those are a set of 65 and later full size factory cast 427 headers. They are very valueable and pretty rare. I'd say very close to $1000 they are worth if they are mint. They have been selling for $800+ for the last few years. Ebay them for sure if you want top dollar! I'd have them magged for cracks before selling. The cast iron headers were very prone to stress cranks over the years. Mostly hairline cracks that can be fixed by a good welder who does cast iron for like $60. Regardless guys will take them anyway they can find them because they are so rare. Anything else you might have sitting around like that? Cammer engine or anything??? LOL...Nice find!
FFR428 Thanks for the reply. They are in pretty good shape. They do have one mounting flange that has been repaired by a professional welder. All threaded holes are ok, just need a good cleaning.
