I purchased some DJM droped I-beams for my '66 f100 but have not installed them yet. I have had new spindels, from a 76 f150, installed on them as I'm converting my truck to disc breaks when I install the beams and rebuild the suspension/steering linkage at the same time. I used to work at a custome shop and we/I installed alot of DJM components into trucks and everything seemed find, there were no problems, and the trucks worked and drove great. as soon as I can get a long weekend off I'll be doing the work on my truck (wich is also my daily driver) and will let everyone know how it goes.
I also have the rear shackel and hanger kit that I'll be installing too.

although I didn't install the DJM suspention on my truck, it was already on there when i got the truck, it rides probally better than it did from the factory. I have a 66 with the 3" drop beams in the front and also 3" drop in the rear. Not to even talk about how much better it looks. Good Luck

You have to trim the ones they send you though because if you don't the will interfere with the bed. The are for a 3 or 4 inch drop. the come with a front hanger the replaces the stock unit so the shackels aren't excessinvely long like in some kits I've seen.
Can't wait to get them installed on my thruck.
Thanks for the info on the shackles! I especially like the business about new forward spring mounts to keep the shackles short. I have all new eaton springs on my Bug and monroe gas shocks. The front coils are stock height but wound progressively to provide a softer ride until load is applied (cornering or stopping). Really nice improvement. To get a little lower and stay stock I use 60's series tires. Later I will add a sway bar and the lowering system you used. Thanks!
