super chips micro tuner ?
I'm a proud new owner of a 99 f-250 powerstroke automatic. I just bought a superchips micro tuner, and it claims to help with the firmness of the shifts, but I honestly didn't feel a difference. I noticed a power increase but nothing for the tranny. Is this normal? Is there a programer out there for an early 99 that you can adjust the shift points and firmness?

a tuner will increase line pressure firming up the shifts. maybe your tranny is slipping a little to where you wont notice a difference? do you have guages because if it is slipping it will run hotter than without the tuner

No my gages are on order still, I hav e the tuner on the lowest setting for now, until I get my exhaust and gages. I tried it on the 110 setting and I still didn't feel a difference, mabe the tires were spinning....lol
