Smile mileage

I just purchased my first diesel F350 4x4 King Ranch, looking for some feedback on mileage. I traded in a 03 F250 2x2 and had pretty decent fuel mileage. Thanks...

Guessing of course that you traded for a new 6.0.

I average 13-14 mpg's around town. Highway unloaded I get 18-19 mpg's. Towing on the highway I get about 12-13 mpg's, thats towing about 10,000 lbs give or take a little.

I've got an 06' 350 cc srw short bed 4x4 and get about 17.5 highway, 15 mixed. Of course I've only got 5000 miles on the clock, so expecting a little increase once I hit the 10K mark.

Mileage

I have an '03 F250 extra cab, 4WD, LWB with 5- speed auto - I often carry 1500lbs in bed and tow a 10,000 trailer - loaded - I average on highway around 15mpg at 70mph. Empty (no load or trailer) on highway I get around 21-22mpg. Mine is built in 02/03 and has 75,000 miles on it. No complaints here - awesome truck/engine - pulls a 9% grade with 10,000 trailer at 65mph and 2K RPM without any problems! Simply an awesome truck!
