What music do you guys listen to? I have 3200 songs on computer (thats enough to play for 5.75 days without repeating a song) ranging from Aqua to ZZTop. I like a little of everything but I HATE COUNTRY. What do you guys like?
I think I'm probably all alone on this one. I don't mind some of the oldies, but I'm more into Bluegrass, country, classical, bigband, etc. I trained as a classical musician for a while until my family to to precedence. I was first chair double bass in the Brandon Community orchestra for around 5 years. Now that my kids are starting to play brass, I'm considering going back. I also played in wind bands in and out of school. So, I guess that about covers it for me. Hey, does anyone else out the play the banjo?
For me its mostly metallica, eminem, crap like that. But I do listen to alot more then just my favorites! I have a ton of songs on my comp too, 4800 mp3's (15.8gigs) or so and alot of times I just throw that playlist on and go!
Favorite is Pink Floyd stuff. I mostly listen to late 60's through to mid 80's. Mostly rock music though.
I like Moody Blues, AC,DC, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Kinks, CCR.
I'm with 66's style on this one but on Sunday's only at breakfast time my wife and I put on the oldest hurting country we can find (Pride, Twitty, Cash, Williams etc). It's our tribute to family members that forced us to listen to it when we were little. We love the stuff now .....we'll atleast for 1 hour of the week.
i like alice in chains, deftones, queens of the stone age, pearl jam...i like grunge and metal. i also like a lot of older stuff from the 50's to the 70's. i hate 80's hair bands, newer country, and 99% of rap.
Truck farmer. I too find hearing some of those old country tunes nice to listen to. I grew up with that music listening to it on our drives to the lakes, my mothers off key voice singing those songs. I know if I could get a bunch of cds of those tunes, My mother would love them.
I would only be able to take so much of it, you do more than I would.
