Stereo
I bought a stereo for my '79 f-250. I need to cut the hole bigger, but if i do there will be only 1/16 inch on each side to hold it in place. Is that going to work or are the ways to still brace the a/c controls?

Can be done other ways, but I cut off the bottom half of the bracket and used angled aluminum to make a new mount that bolted into the top half. It's really sturdy and works well.
If you are worried about destroying your bracket, pick up another at the junkyard. They are easy to come by at least where I am.
