Well, after 143,300 and almost 18 years it's time for a muffler on the truck. Has anyone done business or heard anything about that muffler shop over by the library in Owasso? I'm not sure if I should go to Midas or a local shop. I know Midas has a life time warranty, but not sure if it's worth the extra price.
Yep, I used them a couple times also. They did great and even let me watch and be back in the bay to tell them exactly how to place the tubes and at what angles. I was very pleased with the service, speed, and price. But I think they may be under new management now, so I'm not sure how that place is now?????.......
Owasso has a library??? Come on, with this generation you must relate all locations to Wal-Marts and movie theaters.

Not all of us spend all out time at Wal-Mart and the movie theater cost to much. Next time I'll have to use one of our 2 hospitals (which you can see from the Wal-Mart) or the future TTC campus.
BTW, I read that the Vault is planning a car show, I think it's on April 29th. That's right down the street from the library, or 1 block away from the police station!!
I see O'Reilly's has a muffler for my truck for about $40.00. So, I was able to undo the clamps, but couldn't get the muffler off the pipes. The pipes are good, so it looks like a trip to the shop to have it changed.
I've been soaking with aerokroil for the past week and beating it with a hammer. Clamps looked to be rusted worse than the joints, and the clamps came right off. I'm going to keep spraying it this week and try again next weekend.
