Arrow 4.4L V8 500 lb-ft, 300 hp

My vote is for the 4.4L V8 500 lb-ft, 300 hp. If it will be reliable, then I like the smaller package. Less weight in the front...and might be able to fit both the SD and F150.

IMHO...the time has come for the F150 to get a diesel too!

You are right, the 7.3 cannot keep up with the 6.0, until the 6.0 breaks downt and the 7.3 flies on by like it ain't there.

Well you didn't list this one but I like the 4.5L v6 in the new LCF trucks and would like to put one in my 02 sd gas truck. It only has 200 hp but that is good enough for me and the torque is 440 pounds and they put it in a 19500# gvw truck so it should work with my 10000 #sd and give some ok mileage. If I can't have that one then the 4.4L v8 night be nice. I am not into horse power with a diesel as torque is what moves the vehicle not only the horse power so lower horse power along with good torque interests me. I don't need a 600 hp to move my truck so I don't look at them to much but if that is all there is then you have to look at them.
If I have to choose a big block then it has to be the 7.3L psd which I could put in my 02 if I could find a new one and then put the 5 speed or 6 speed auto behind it from allison then I would be real interested.

The 4.5L V6 found in the LCF trucks is on the list, in a 240 hp form for light-duty applications (I doubt they'd leave it @ only 200 hp, they don't need to, and shouldn't). Its listed as PowerStroke V6.
