interior buttons not illuminating.

interior buttons not illuminating.
My cruise buttons on the steering wheel don't light up,the power window and lock, and mirror switch on drivers and passenger side don't light up,and not that I care but the chime doesn't work either. I checked the fuses on/under the dash and they still don't work, any ideas?

The Bronco never had illuminated steering wheel and window/door lock buttons that I am aware. The chime module has most likely been disconnected. (Its the first thing I do with any vehicle I own). Its up under the driver's side of the dash can't recall the exact location right now but it will have a 7-pin connector that provides power, ground and all of the trigger circuits for it.

Well there's only five buttons.... I suppose if you really want them to light up you could take off the black panel that the buttons are in and repaint the letters underneath the buttons with some type of glow in the dark paint.

My 96 Eddie Bower is still running at 168,000 miles with no problems. The only other vehicle I would EVER want would be a retro style 96 with a diesel V8 or V6 - and then I would still keep the 96!
