Now it wont start?

I have a 74 F-250. The choke was stuck , fixed that and turned the idle down. Now it wont start, it turns over though. What do you think the problem is?

Well I moved the throttle and that got it going, but it was backfiring through the carb.

When the choke was stuck, you may have flooded the engine with fuel. Pull a few easy to get to sparkplugs. If they are black with fuel, smell them to conferm, replace the whole set. try it, post again, start simple 1st, then...
