I cannot get my hood to close! It closed fine before I took the hood off to paint. But now it looks like the stud in the middle of the hood release spring is just not going down far enough for the latch to catch. I have been trying to extend the stud but it is seized up pretty good. Any ideas?<!-- / message -->

 

Keep trying, Maybe the latch just isn't cathing it, If you can't get it to latch after trying you could just convert to hood pins they look sweet! Let me know if you get it.

 

try louseing up your bottom brackit and pulling it up, some times the hole oval out and it sides down when u shut your hood
