color codes
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what colors these codes are:
First is a 1977 with the code SM
Second is a 1979 with the code 7U
I also have a 1979 F250 4x4 but i don't have the tag on the door to get the codes besides the VIN number. Is there anywhere on the truck other then the door that i can get that info?

Hi, you can post this to the body shop forum and ask, or you can take the codes to a body shop locally that has been around for a while and they should be able to look it up for you. I don't know of any other place a paint code would be on the one you have without a tag. John
