leaking water pump or hose

Often engine coolant leaks do not show up on the garage floor untill they are bad. If you suspect your water pump is leaking, it could be from the weep hole on the casting. To check for a leak their cram a piece of white paper towel up in each hole at night after you finish driving the truck. Check it in the morning to see if it is wet or the color has changed. If no change put the towel back in and drive it. Than check it again at the end of day. For a suspected hose leak at a connection wrap and tape a piece of paper towel around the connections after driving the truck for the day. Check the towels in the morning for wetness or color change.

Kind of like the "white glove" treatment!

Good idea, Thanks!
