Question Monitors?

Does anyone remember the post about a plug in diagnostics monitor that showed mpg and other things as you drove. It fit under the dash and had a yellowish looking lcd screen with different settings. It was about $125 and I can not for the life of me find that post. Thanks in advance!

You are very welcome.

FYI: I did a forum search on "monitors" I think it was on page 5 of the results...took about 3 or 4 minutes.

These are also nice. http://www.actron.com/I dont think any of them will give you EGT readings if that is what your looking for, not sure. They are a nice tool.

We can get the Auto Xray and Sun Electric brands, but havent tried either yet. Not to say they arent any good. Just havent had the call for one.

With the sensor do you think exhaust temps are readable thru the OBDII plug?

The OBD II is directly in front of your right knee at the bottom edge of the dash.

Unless you have a factory Pyrometer that is setup to read that way I would think it wont work. I dont know everything (ask my wife), but we have yet to see a Factory Ford Pyrometer. Every pyrometer Ive ever instaled needed to have a lead drilled and taped into the truck. Like I said before...Ive been wrong before...infact once today already lol
