I am going to get rid of my in cab fuel tank on my 77 F250 4x4 and I like what they have, I was just curious to see if anyone else has used them. Their prices are a little high, $560 plus freight for the tank I need.
I don't have one on my '79 F-150, but I have one of their tanks on my '90 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It's a mid ship tank that sits were the factory one is. The tanks fills every possible inch of space and some things are hard to get to.
Mine is made out of 16 gauge, with an extra layer on the bottom that they consider a "skid plate". I think it's a little thin for such a big tank(33 gal), but it hasn't buckled despite being hit off-road a few times.
Workmanship is OK but somewhat sloppy, mostly in the welds. They even forgot to paint one side of the tank. Despite all of this, I've had the tank 9 years and it's done it's job.
