1993 E-150 electrical problem
I have a 1993 E-150 that's having a bit of a fuse problem. Fuse #8 (THINGS CONNECTED: spedo, odometer, dome lights, chime, radio--seemingly just the memory/speakers/lights as the radio still powers on--, power mirrors) will blow whenever I hit a big bump or pothole. Sometimes trying to replace the fuse right away doesn't work as it blows right away, but if you wait a day or so you can replace it. And it will be fine until the next big bump. Any ideas on what's going on here?

I had problems with the wires going to the driver's door in a cadillac once. I pushed and pulled on the wires until it cleared the bad place in the wire. Your problem could be similar. Maybe even inside the door as it goes past sharp edges to get to the mirror.
