OEM grill

I am looking for a stock grill for my 98 f150. I have the xlt, but I think its the sport or the stk that has the honey comb grill that I was to use instead.

Ive tried ebay, but no luck. Anyone know where I can order it?

On 97-98, the surround w/ the bar style grill is one piece and you will have to order a new surround and the grill.

so even if I wanted to do a billet grill?

Which surrond isnt attached to the grill? the painted sport / stx grill?

If you want to do a billet, you can get a bolt over or you can cut the grill out. The STX grill is a snap in along w/ the Lariat.

I would Highly recomend getting the billet grill for the truck they just make it stand out that much more, but if you do buy one get the one where you cut rather than bolt over. they look much better

yeah, I have seen the bolt overs. You can always tell.

So I can just pull out my saws all and hack into the grill? or is there a better way to ditch the bars?

B4 I put the 99-up front end on, I cut the original surround and put a billet grill in. The opening in the bar style is slightly larger and I had to fill in the upper corners w/ plastic, epoxy, and bondo. Look close at the pic and you can see where the line goes toward the outside then cuts the other way. I've seen other pics where the bars were cut out and they didn't have to mod the surround like I did.
