Injection Pump Problems
All of my friends where I live have cummins. I allways hear them talk about turning the injection pump up to get more fuel. My question is this, Can you turn up the injection pump on a powerstroke? If so how would you do this? And what are the pros/cons of doing this?

it would have to be done electronically ... either with a programmer or with a chip controller. Advantages are more power ... disadvantages, your cummins friends would be p o'd at you for kickin butt.

powerstrokes dont have an "injection pump" so to say. they use high pressure oil that flows through the injectors to fire them. these are all electrical. the only way to turn them up is done through a chip/tuner/programmer. it raises the oil pressure sent to the injectors, along with pulse width and timing. for all your black smoking needs, talk to www.dp-tuner.com
