new engine question
most of you know that im gettin a new engine, the question is have any of you that have had to get a new one from ford know if the remanufactured ones come with pmr rods or forged rods. id rather know now than when it gets here cause if it doesnt have forged rods than ive got to order them quick. the parts guy at work had no idea what i was even talking about

Hey, just think of it this way:
If you do it now (putting in forged rods), you've got a TON of power mods you can do and still have a reliable engine.

I had a fairly reliable source tell me just the oppposite, that all IH remans came with Forged rods. I have an IH reman, but havent taken the time to pull the little plug and look to be sure.
