Rear axle

Have replaced rear axle on 2000 f350 diesel 3 times - low mileage(62,000) seems lemonlike, any thoughts

why did it need replaced in the first place?

not too sure - Daughter's truck- made clank noise on turning I think- has been replace since that too similar prob- now axle seal leak

please if possible give us some more information on why they say it had to be replaced or failed. mainly as this is odd to fail that many times.

The clank noise was probably the LS making noise. There was a TSB on that for 2000.
Obviously a oil seal leak is not the same issue or repair. I doubt they replaced the rear axle for an oil leak??

the axle was replaced for the same problem 2 or 3 times- the seal is a new event causing the rear brake shoes to be bad?
