The 351w will bolt right up to the 302 mounts, I don't think the van stuff
will work on the 63 truck, on the 63 you will have to buy 302 adaptor to
bolt up a 351w. Or make your own adaptor?

P.S. the frame on the 63 don't have a crossmember to bolt truck frame
stands. The trucks engine has different motor mounts.

I don't understand your questions. The 351W will interchange with the 302, only difference is that the 351 is a little taller and wider. Otherwise the mounts and bellhousing are the same. If you already have a 302 in your 63, the 351 will drop right in.
i was wondering if i could drop a 351W into 302 mounts, i have a 73 econoline 200 that has a bad 302, i have access to a rebuilt 351W which has been built up for 350$. i was askign to see how easy it would be to switch the engines,
and about the frames, i was think about takign the C-4(maybe c-6) out the the van and putting the 351W and the trans into my 63 f-100, and if they used the same frame, or similar enough frame, i was wondering how easily the mounts from the van would fit onto my truck frame.
I had 2 74 vans when I was much younger and the van craze was going on. I don't remember how much clearance there was in the engine compartment. As stated earlier, the 351 is taller and about 2" wider. Go to the van forum here and ask those guys. They would be better equipted to reply.
As for putting the 351W in the 63, it would be an excellent choice. But, you will need to make or purchase engine and transmission mounts for the 63. The stock engine was mounted in the front and by the bellhousing. The aftermarket has a mount available that is a tube that attaches to the frame on both sides and cradles the engine.

aftermarket? for the 351
where could i get it and how much, what will be needed for the transmission to hold it in place
google search it and 10-20 sites come up with all different prices. Summitracing sells one for $45 and change from Trans-Dept. Plus you can get a xsmn mount as well from the same place.
