Guys,
I have a 1990 F-350 supercab dulley that has 184,000 miles on it. The trans appears to shift through the gears too soon, I'm in overdrive at 40 mph and the drive shaft make a noise that reverbrates in the cab. Is there brake bands that need adjustment? I change the trans fluid & screen about 2 months ago and everything looked ok. Has anyone else have more miles on their transmissinon? I hope I'm not ready for a rebuild yet...
My 1990 F150 regular cab 4x4 , 300, with E4Od, shifts to overdrive about 37 MPH. If I am very light on the throttle, it will stay in OD down to about 34MPH.
Has 171,000 miles. Had the tranny serviced at local mom n pop shop, this week. Guy said it was in good shape and seemed like it was ready to go another 100,000
