Rocker Panel

I am currently the owner of a 1986 F-250, and I have the noticed the condition of the rocker panels are quite desperate, the drivers side in particular. I know that I dont have the equipment or experience to do the Job. The rust has traveled through the rocker panel into the floor panel on the driver side, and is really starting to eat away. I would like to know if anyone would give me a general idea of how much this would cost to get repaired, as I want to save the truck, or if it is at all possible to repair it myself. I have gotten rather frustrated, becaue I have noticed in chevy's or so I think, that the rocker panel is a seperate piece, where as in fords (i am a ford man) they are one.

Take some pictures of the area, post them in your gallery, or online where you can give a link to them. Then, you can get a real accurate estimate. Trying to give an estimate on bodywork over the internet is like trying to do brain surgery over the phone....
