Wait until you take a vehicle with drum brakes down a mountain pass like the Logan pass in northern Montana. Then you will find out just how scary drum front brakes can be. And what burning brake linings smell like

Kerry, Eric has found me out.

There are usually multiple ways to do upgrades, and there are a few basics that you need to keep in mind.

The 65-79 F-series use the same chassis-bolt holt configuration. The duallys are different and we generally don't mention them to keep the dust down.

You can remove a complete I-beam from a 79 F150, 250, 350 (4 wheel) and install it on any F100, 150, 250, (350 back to 67) back to 65 bolt up exchange.

There are many ways to split it up and make it work. After being here for a bit and reading where some guy goes to pulling parts from here and there and comes back complaining that his parts don't fit, I have decided only to recommend complete setup swaps. Should I need any part for the front end on my 66 I ask for 76 parts, don't have to try to remember where I pulled a part from. KISS

John
