darn, whats involved in disassembly and reassembly for the switch? Is it located in the steering column? Do you have to replace the arm that you actually move to turn on and off?
To replace the turn signal switch, is it the arm off the column that has the wipers and allthat? Auto zone had it for 129.99. Is this the turn signal switch yall are talking about replacing?
yes,that is the one i had to replace on my 86 bII..i do recall paying about that much for mine..it took me about 2 hours to do mine,not hard,just time consuming
Autozone here in WA sells the -turn signal- switch for $39.99... however, the wiper switch or the combination of both might be that much together... esp. if it's got intermittent wipers... *shrug*
That's why I said time and disassembly/reassembly... you have to take everything apart and replace just the turn signal switch, not both switches together.... unless your wipers aren't working, either
