Yea, I have a 1987 Ranger with 14" chrome wagon rims, I need to know what the max tire width that can fit on my truck, it has no lift on it at all. I wanna put the widest tires that can fit on the truck without rubbing. Thanks very appreciated.
Well go outside and measure with load/without load, etc. Try and see how much it compresses when you hit a bump or something like that.
What exactly are you going to be using it for? Remember, if you get bigger tires you're gonna have to regear your speedo or it's going to be off, since in effect you're adjusting your final drive ratio.
Is yours 2wd or 4wd? I have a 88 2wd and had 60's on the back, they were OK as long as I didn't haul anything. You could try 70's on the front but on sharp turns they may rub the radius arms.
