Optima Battery Installation
Hi, I just ordered an Optima battery for my 97 Expy and I read something about some Fords need a "Height Adapter" - Does this battery come with that or can someone who has this type of battery confirm with me that I really need this part. Thanks.

You don't need a height adapter, you need a mounting adapter which snaps onto the bottom side of the battery so you can use the factory holddown location. I bought my red top at a local store, and they had the adapters right there. I can't tell you if you will need to buy these or if they should be provided for free. Mine were provided at no charge.
