I am wondering if and or where PSD enthusiasts get together in Houston?
Seems like a good reason to get out of the house. You know get to gether, tell lies, look at your truck, look at my truck, tell more lies. Maybe have an adult beverage while lieing.
I live near Diesel Innovations. That seems like it would be a good spot on like a week night.
Hell I don't know I may just be blowing smoke out of my butt.
Let me know what ya'll think, or if somehting like this already goes on. I am kind of new to this whole scene.
I normally only post and reply on the 7.3L spot, but seems like here would be a good place to ask.
TX Chapter here is dead...you might want to check out the TX Chapter of FTW. I know there is a bunch that meet on a weekly basis at Diesel Innovations. Another link you should check out is:
Any CB shop can peak and tune it for about 15-20 bucks. That would give better performance from the radio. You can buy an amp for anywhere from $70 to as much as you can afford.
On a side note
I got a hold of that guy you told me about. He is supposed to let me know when they are going to start meeting again. I'll will try to let you know as well.
What part of H-town are u in?
Most people I know use a shop/guy named Jerry's, it's in town somewhere. But dang near every CB shop will do a peak and tune. Just don't pay more than 25 bucks for it, should really be about 15. The best place to get an amp it on-line. Because they are illegal for CB use. Plus local CB shop charge an arm and leg for um.
