95 Power Windows...

My power window on the passenger side has been acting up lately. It goes down just fine but it won't come back up.

Now before you say it's the motor, The down switch works just fine, but both up switches for both the passenger and drivers sidedo not work.

So essentially, both down buttons work on the drivers side switch panel, but the up buttons don't work. Also, the passenger side switch works fine in both up and down positions.

The power locks also sound like they are spooling up but just don't have enough power to lock or unlock. Sounds like zzzzzzzzzzzzzttt.

Any solutions?

Sounds like the driver's side switches are bad. Here's a diagram.

Take the switch panel on the driver's side apart. Take a meter and put it on the wires in the diagram labeled wht/yel or yel/blk and tan/ltblue or red/blk. When you move the switch to up, you should have voltage on these wires if the switch is good.

I have taken my switches apart and had to sand the contacts, they were arched/burnt. Put them back together and they worked like new. Just be careful taking them apart(springs) and pay attention to how everything is in there. Hope this helps.
