Auto lock problem
I have been having a problem with the drivers side locks on 2000 my X. On occasion that side of the truck will not lock the doors. I can use the remote, the lock button on the door or even the keyless entry, and no go. An hour later, they work. The passenger side works fine. Any idea ?

I have a 2000 Limited X, and I have the same problem.... except none of my door locks worked. I tried the WD-40 Fix, and my rear lock now works, the other ones still dont, so I have to get new actuators. If you do a search for threads for "lock actuators" or "door lock actuators" or something like that you will find instructions on how to "do it yourself" If you can't find them, look for CUINAK 's gallery, he is the author of the detailed instructions with pictures.
