anybody make performance head?
hey, I'm in no position to build up the engine right now but for future reference I'm curious. Does anybody make a performance head for the 300I6? I'm guessing the answer is no but I thought I'd ask anyway.

There is a head built called the "FS1" and is sold on ebay i think. A guy over on fordsix took some chevy LS1 heads, cut and welded them and made a head for the big six. The only problem with these is they require custom manifolds.

there is a fullrace head with no water jackets which costs about 6 grand, the LS1 creation that...err...i have read bad stuff about with the seller on ebay and i would rule it out. then theres a modified stock head which is ur best bet.

There was only one FS1 head ever built. The guy that built it has a shop over by where I live. I doubt it's a very good return on your investment.
