I'm looking at getting a set of these for my truck but have a question that I'm hoping someone around here could help me out with.
If someone could please breakout their tape measure and tell me what the dimension is from the ground up to the step (where you would put your foot) when it's in the lowered position?
It depends on the height of the truck. What you really need is the distance from the bottom of the cab to the step so you can calculate what it would be on your vehicle.
As a side note..AMP Research now offers an extension to lower the step even more. I am running 10.5" of lift and do not use an extension.
Thanks for the info and for pointing me to a great site with lots of cool atricles and other doo-dads.
I guess my main question is how much lower will the PowerStep's be than my stock black running boards?
Oh, and my truck is at the stock height... forgot to put that info above.
I can't remember how low my stockers were. You have a Lariat right? You could always measure yours and subtract the difference from the specs in the article.
