Brake pad..

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the piece of the brake pad that goes into the caliper is called. The three or four prongy pieces on the back of one of the pads.

Also does anyone have a I think F-250 with Illinois plates of BIG BOY or BAD BOY?

That clip should be riveted to the pad. Comes that way from the factory. If it has come loose, replace the pad.

What PROJECTSHO said. If it is loose or separated from the pad...replace it. Take it back to where you got them from and get a warranty replacement. That should not of happened during the life of the pad. Bad workmanship.
